clean your home with disinfectants during coronavirus lockdown

Clean and sanitize the house thoroughly

After the lockdown, the place where you can stay and keep yourself protected from coronavirus is your home. The cleaning and sanitization of the house becomes very important. Make sure that you clean your house thoroughly and also wipe the floor and furniture using a disinfectant.

Do not allow visitors at your home

Coming in contact with the infected individual is the main reason why coronavirus is spreading like wildfire in a Jungle. Do not allow any visitors at your home, not even little kids from the neighbourhood. If you want to keep yourself and your family safe, you need to take this effective measure. Sometimes people tend to catch the virus from the person who doesn’t even show any sign of having the infection.

Do not share things with other members of the family

It is highly advised not to share towels, cups, and other eating utensils with the other members of the family. You must also replace the cloth towel near the washbasin by paper one.

Laundry during Covid19

To buy grocery and other essential items that are necessary for survival, you need to go out of the house. Wear a mask while going outside. After you return from shopping, take a bath and get rid of the clothes that you were wearing earlier. Wash them with detergent and water thoroughly. Make sure to use gloves while touching the clothes. After laundry, put the gloves (If disposable) in the closed lid dustbin or wipe them with an alcoholic disinfectant/santizer (If reusable). Then, wash your hands with regular soap and water for a minimum of 20 seconds or rub an alcoholic disinfectant till your hand becomes dry.

Wipe the most touched places of the house daily

According to medical experts, the virus can live up to 72 hours on the specific type of surfaces, which include the door handles, mobile phones, money, etc. You need to wipe the door handles, switches, keys, cell phones, wallet, purse handle, and other such places that are touched by most of the family members with a strong disinfectant.

Consume properly cooked food

It is a known fact that food that is cooked properly is free from any bacteria and disease-causing micro-organisms. Consume properly cooked food only. If you are eating raw fruits and vegetables, make sure you wash them properly. You can also use hot water to rinse these food items.

Immediately put the grocery bags for washing and wipe the food containers using a disinfectant

After you return from grocery shopping, get rid of all the grocery bags immediately. Make sure to use a close lid trash bin. Wipe all the containers and the counter properly on which you unloaded all the items with a disinfectant.

Wash your hands with soap and water from time to time, and do not touch your mouth and other parts of your face. Stay healthy and stay safe.
